The heart, one of the vital organs of the body, has a unique muscular structure. The heart with its unique structure; It works in a certain order, order and system. Each part of the heart performs its functions in a certain order. While the heart sends dirty blood to the lungs for purification, it also pumps clean blood to the body, all at the same time without mixing with each other. In addition, it is an organ that produces the energy necessary to pump blood and provides its own nutrition. Generally speaking, the heart has the following sections.

The heart consists of 4 chambers: the upper part, consisting of the right and left atrium, and the lower part, consisting of the right and left ventricles (ventricle). While the right side of the heart deals with dirty blood, the left side deals with clean blood. There are also 4 valves in the heart. The valve between the left atrium and left ventricle of the heart is called the mitral valve, and the valve between the right atrium and right ventricle is called the tricuspid valve. The valve through which blood passes from the right ventricle to the lungs to be cleaned is the pulmonary valve, while the valve through which cleaned blood spreads from the left ventricle to the body is the aortic valve. The heart consists of 3 layers. These are the endocardium that covers the inner surface of the heart, the myocardium that forms the middle layer, and the pericardium that covers the outer part of the heart.
