After a heart surgery 10 years ago, my mother did not recover and was always sick. He traveled from hospital to hospital due to health problems. As a result of the research done so far, a second surgery was revealed with the diagnosis of mitral valve insufficiency, we had no other choice anyway, shortness of breath, weakness and fatigue significantly reduced the quality of life. When we decided to have surgery, the doctor told us to bring the patient tomorrow and I will operate the next day, which made me nervous because my mother was using blood thinners day and night. I was afraid that my mother would remain at the table while the patient who was on blood thinners was not treated immediately during even the simplest tooth extraction. During this time, while I was researching armpit heart surgery on the internet, GOD brought our esteemed doctor Prof. Dr. Yavuz BEŞOĞUL to me. We met with him through his assistant İlkber Hanım.
When Dr. Yavuz examined my mother, he postponed the surgery for 20 days, gave my mother medical treatment at home, and inflated hundreds of balloons at home every day to open her lungs.
We were admitted to İstinye University Hospital Medical Park Gaziosmanpaşa on 24 December 2018. He told us that opening the heart a second time was a difficult and risky surgery. It was obvious that he treated his patients with great care, and I personally witnessed that he cared about human beings. On the morning of December 26, 2018, they did my mother's final check-ups and went to the operating room with her. I handed over my mother first to GOD and then to our teacher Yavuz. I thank him endlessly. He rescued my mother from a wreck. If someone else had done this surgery, I don't know if she would have survived or if she would have been handed over to me as a wreck...
He personally waited for my mother in intensive care for two days. When he was taken to the room, he dressed himself during the day and talked to the nurses on the phone several times at night about his general condition. He accelerated the healing process with his smiling face and friendly behavior. He solved everything that would be a problem, from my mother's pajamas to her corset, and did not leave us with any problems in the hospital environment as much as he could. He treated my mother meticulously and tirelessly throughout the 9 days we stayed in the hospital.
In this hospital adventure, he broke my mother's heart in the last days of 2018, thanks to Yavuz Hodja. Thank God, my mother was very lucky to enter the new year in a healthy way... We are glad to have met you, even though it was a little late. Also, Ms. İlkber, who brought us together with our teacher Yavuz, is a wonderful person and Mr. Aydın, thank you very much, you are a morale booster and healing for the patients with your positive energy.
