The first 8 weeks of pregnancy are an important period in the formation of the cardiovascular structure.

The most common congenital heart diseases; It can be classified as problems in the heart vessels, such as holes between the atrium or ventricles, reverse positioning of the heart chambers, stenosis or insufficiency in the heart valves, and reverse protrusion of the main vessels in the heart. It is beneficial for women with congenital heart disease to have cardiology check-ups, especially before pregnancy.

In later ages, when congenital heart disease is examined according to the complaints of the patients, the disease can be diagnosed by chest X-ray or echocardiography taken during the check-up.
